Guthrie Bowron, one of NZ’s biggest interior decorating retailers, has appointed Waitapu Group’s Stanley St as their full-service agency to manage strategy, creative and media with the social media work awarded to Culture, also part of Waitapu Group.
Guthrie Bowron was looking for a full-service solution, which would not only deliver on overall financial and production efficiencies, but provide the “one team, one dream” solution, with dedicated account service all under one roof, to seamlessly deliver consistent brand growth solutions.
“Stanley St plus Culture can do just this” says CEO Siobhan Burke.
“Stanley St has its roots in retail, and we were able to present this full service offering with credibility and with a strong creative approach to their brief, which ultimately won us this great opportunity” she says.
“Guthrie Bowron is a 100% Kiwi owned and operated business with local, regional ownership and incredibly knowledgeable staff” says Guthrie Bowron CEO Ed Connolly.
“We offer a wide range of home decorating solutions ranging from curtains & blinds to flooring, wallpaper and paint, and we need to make more New Zealanders aware of our unique offering."
“We are delighted to be working with the talented teams at Stanley St and Culture, to achieve that heightened awareness” says Connolly.
Diana Hornal, Retail Creative Director, says: “Guthrie Bowron is an exciting account to work on as creative transformation is at the heart of both our businesses."
“This brand, and the retail story will be one we can both be proud of.”
The teams at Stanley St and Culture are looking forward to working alongside Guthrie Bowron to create great work.
“Guthrie Bowron has such a comprehensive and fantastic offering that we’re excited to showcase” says Executive Creative Director, Brad Collett.
“This is another great win for Stanley St, Culture and the Waitapu Group off the back of the appointment of Fisher Funds” he concludes.
