Stanley St has made further investments into agency talent, through its appointment of five new roles in their Wellington office.

Stanley St, New Zealand’s largest independent agency, has made further investments into agency talent, through its appointment of five new roles in their Wellington office.

The agency’s move toward local ownership and independence was fuelled by its desire to retain profits in New Zealand, creating the ability to invest in both the agency group, and its clients.

This vision is being realised through a strong investment in talent, which has seen the agency bolster their Wellington line up. The new roles span several areas including agency leadership, planning, creative, design, media and client service, taking the agency to a team size of twenty employees.

One of the new appointments includes Aaron White, who will take up the role of Head of Stanley St Wellington.

White brings with him a wealth of experience in leading change-focused business strategy across the largely Government focused Wellington market. As a former GM of M&C Saatchi, Aim Proximity and Stanley St’s former namesake, Ogilvy NZ, White’s experience will be critical in expanding Stanley St’s Wellington offer, and with this, the value it adds to their Wellington based clients.

Joining White and the rest of the established agency team are communication specialist Suzy O’Connell in the role of Senior Account Director, and Lizzie Baird who will be helping to drive the creative output in her role as Senior Copywriter.

This line up will be further bolstered by the addition of Nathan Chambers, the group’s long serving Head of Design, a former Wellingtonian, relocating back to the capital. Chambers has led Stanley St’s design team for over 8 years, during which time it has become one of the most highly-awarded agency-based design teams in the industry.

Following its launch, Stanley St has also integrated Wellington based digital and user experience agency Alloy, in line with the agency’s desire to provide the market with a seamless and competitive full-service offering. Clare Warne, who has demonstrated real strength and expertise in this space, will now extend her knowledge as Head of Digital Transformation across the Stanley St group.
