For the first time in 25 years, the New Zealand Police have a unified and modern brand identity. The Stanley St Agency was tasked with creating this new brand design, and they did not disappoint.
One of the main goals of this campaign was to avoid any public confusion. The team created an evolution of the existing Police brand identity, rather than a complete overhaul. This approach was successful in maintaining the core essence of the brand, while also modernizing it and making it more professional, approachable, and unified.
Brand Refresh Elements
Everything in the brand refresh including the supporting elements of signage, wayfinding, brand collateral and responsive logos, has been carefully considered to convey a strong unified voice. The new brand design also included elements that reflect New Zealand's unique culture and identity.
Overall, the new NZ Police brand design is a fresh and modern take on a well-known and respected institution. Our team has created a well received, unified and professional brand identity that truly represents the New Zealand Police and its role in Aotearoa.
